The Lunch-In program is a popular PTO sponsored event that provides delivered hot lunches by local vendors to our students. The program also raises PTO funds in order to support fun and educational programs, as well as special events, throughout the entire school year. This year, our Lunch-In committee is excited to bring a new, easier, way to order lunches for your child. We have created an online ordering through Sign Up Genius (SUG). Lunch orders and payments will only be accepted online.
Two local vendors will continue their partnership with Oak in providing hot lunches to the students, Taste of Home Catering and Baldinelli. Lunch-In will be sponsored twice a month. There are a total of 18 Lunch-In dates this school year. The cost of each lunch is $6.50. The lunch descriptions and dates will be available the first week of school.
The DEADLINE TO ORDER WILL BE TUESDAY, SEPT. 6th. SUG will close after that date. Online ordering will be the only way to purchase your child’s hot lunches. The PTO will not be accepting checks. More information on how to participate in Lunch-In will be sent home with your child the first week of school.
We will continue to use SUG to recruit volunteers needed to make Lunch-In a success. The Lunch-In program can not happen without volunteers! We will need 2 parent volunteers from each classroom to help distribute meals and supervise the children throughout lunch.
