The Oak School PTO welcomes our families, organizes community building events, offers opportunities for families to come together, and supports the efforts of the school to make Oak School the best possible learning environment for our children. We work collaboratively with the Oak School community to enhance the educational experience for our students. Through service and financial support from our parents, we provide supplemental programming and materials, school equipment, and opportunities to foster a more connected community.

Whether you are a new family or have been here for many years, participating in PTO events is a fun and rewarding way to get involved. We have numerous volunteer opportunities for those who have limited availability and those who have more time to give. We value and appreciate all participation. Every Oak School parent is invited to join one or more committees that fulfill their personal interests.

 Reach out and get involved!

We’re excited to share that we’ve adopted a new communication platform called ParentSquare to help us keep you better informed and more connected with your school community. This new communication tool will be utilized starting July 1, 2026.

With ParentSquare, you’ll receive all school and district messages in one place and translated into your preferred language—whether by email, text, app, or web. You’ll also be able to:

  • Stay up to date on news and events
  • View calendar items from your school

After July 1st, all school and district communications will come through ParentSquare.

To get the most out of ParentSquare, we encourage you to download the free mobile app, available for iOS and Android between now and July 1. You can also access ParentSquare from your web browser at www.parentsquare.com. If you already have ParentSquare because you have students who attend District 86, you will begin to see District 181 appear in your app sometime this spring, but updates will not begin until July 1st.
