Support Hinsdale D86’s Student Run Business: THREADS

Hinsdale’s young adults with disabilities have launched a student run business called THREADS. The students are enrolled in the Hinsdale Transition Program that provides life and vocational skills instruction to young adults with disabilities between the ages of 18 and 22. They work with clients to design custom clothing using logos or artwork.

The Hinsdale Central PTO has shared a mental health resource guide for parents.

Much like “Angie’s List,” The Parent List is a compilation of community member vetted referrals. Insightful reviews on local doctors, therapists, support groups, inpatient/outpatient programs, tutors, nutritionists, books and holistic medical approaches may all be found on The Parent List.
