Principal Appreciation

Check out what Oak students and PTO put together for Mrs. Nassis as part of her principal appreciation week.

In addition to the hats and sunglasses and donation for hurricane Ian relief, the kids made hand written cards that were collected in a basket with some of her favorite things.

Also created a sign for her office, with her school slogan “growing our community” and Staff Appreciation committee created this beautiful mural-Little acorns grow into mighty oaks.

Each acorn and flower has something students love about our principal.

It’s always sunny with Mrs. Nassis!

The Oak School is celebrating our principal this Wednesday, October 26th.

We are sharing in our principal's sunshine by wearing a favorite summer hat or sunglasses!

For students to be able to wear their hat and glasses, you need to donate a dollar to the American Red Cross Florida Relief Fund.

We will be collecting the dollars $$$ at school!

For the next 2 weeks, books purchased online at abcfairs or in person at Anderson's bookstore in Downers Grove or Naperville will be included in the fall Oak book fair!. Anderson's will return 20% of the purchases back to Oak! These funds are used to purchase books for Oak's library.

Shop at abcfairs.com and put in Oak Elementary School as the school when you check out.

Thank you to all who volunteered for the fair and those who shopped.
