Remember to place your Lunch-In orders online at MyFoodDays.com. The deadline for all orders is Monday, January 1st. Lunch-In will still be offered every Monday. There are a total of 17 lunch dates. The vendors and menu options have remained the same except a new option is a 3 mini meatball sandwich on Taste of Home soup/sub days. For new Oak families who would like to participate in our Lunch-In program, you will need to first register, add your children to your account, and then order food. Here is the link to order lunches.
Please consider ordering extra food portions if your child has a big appetite. We can not accommodate extra food if your child is still hungry.
The Lunch-In program can not happen without volunteers! Go to myFoodDays.com for parent volunteer sign ups. Use this link to volunteer. We need 2 parent volunteers from each classroom to help distribute meals and supervise the children throughout lunch. Lunch-In will take place in the cafeteria/gym. If slots for your child’s classroom is full, you may sign up under an opened slot. If all slots are filled, additional help is always welcomed (email me below to let me know).
If you are volunteering for grades 1, 2 or 3, we ask that you help from 11:15 a.m. – 11:50 a.m.
If you are volunteering for grades 4 or 5, we ask that you help from 11:40 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
You may volunteer for both lunches, especially if you have children during each lunch time. Younger siblings are welcome to accompany parents. Additional lunches may be purchased for younger siblings under your participating child’s name.
For more information regarding our Lunch-In program and menu option/dates, please see attached flyer.
Again, thank you for supporting Oak School PTO and our popular Lunch-In program. Questions with Lunch-In or the new ordering website, email Denys Kang (Lunch-In chair) email@example.com.
